In 2024, Sylvania, a pioneering lighting company for a century, is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a corporate communication campaign throughout the year. Since its beginnings in 1924, Sylvania has stood out for its spirit of innovation, technical expertise and commitment to research and development. Through this campaign, the brand highlights not only its rich heritage, but also its vision of the future.

A century of innovation and leadership

The brand has introduced revolutionary products that have marked every generation. The campaign highlights the major themes that have shaped the brand, from the first incandescent bulbs to the dominance of LEDs. Well-being, innovation, digitalisation and energy savings are among the themes explored in this campaign.

At the heart of this celebration, Sylvania is rolling out a series of internal and external content that embodies its commitment to a greener, smarter future. This content celebrates in particular the innovations that have shaped the world of lighting for a century.

A tribute to employees

The campaign also pays tribute to the employees who have contributed to the brand's success over the years. Portraits of employees and of past and present scientists are shared to illustrate the commitment and passion that have kept Sylvania a key player in the industry for 100 years.

The agency rolled out and adapted a print and digital creative concept, developed content for social media and organised internal events. It also created a timeline to share this history with all the brand's countries in the EMEA region.

Communicating for the European missile manufacturer MBDA

MBDA is a somewhat unusual arms manufacturer on the world market.

It is a company with a European component, and as a result the principles governing sales of its equipment are based on European principles, very different from those of many producer countries.

MBDA entrusted its communication to Agence Puck to find a corporate concept that would highlight these principles through the human dimension.

The “Excellence at Your Side” concept was therefore developed to enable all the countries concerned to communicate with the same graphic guidelines and the idea that MBDA relies on its teams to support its customers beyond cutting-edge technology.

We had to integrate the group's corporate guidelines and create an iconographic development to address each type of defence around the world.

Communication campaign for Tarkett thanks to Plastic Life

Tarkett, the world leader in floor coverings, was looking to regain market share in linoleum, a somewhat forgotten material that is nevertheless resolutely modern since it is entirely natural.

The idea was therefore to take the opposite approach to the competition and focus on the intrinsic qualities of this floor covering through its benefits for specifiers and users.

To do this, our communication agency drew on the expertise of Vincent Bousserez who takes macro photographs of scenes staged like dioramas.

The result: a campaign with communication tools that surprised and challenged:

and distributors.

Launch campaign for an innovation

Sylvania is a major player in lighting solutions. In 2022, the brand launched a revolutionary downlight (recessed spotlight). It features an optic that enables it to light the room while also creating a larger or smaller halo of light, depending on how the optic is opened. This innovation gives architects a new tool for structuring spaces.

Agence Puck therefore proposed an advertising concept to support this idea, as if we were seeing it through the eye of an observer. The iris, reflecting this double halo, then appears as a work of art. The campaign, set to run internationally, has been adapted for print, digital and film.

Campagne de notoriété – CNH Industrial Capital

An expert in financing agricultural and construction equipment, CNH Industrial Capital realised that it was little known to its customers and prospects. It is often placed, rightly, behind the equipment brands it supports, such as Steyr, Case IH or New Holland. It was imperative to set up a campaign to promote its expertise and financial offers.

How can this brand exist in the minds of its potential customers? It has to be given awareness, but above all qualified awareness.

Numerous meetings were held between Agence Puck and CNH Capital to identify: what made up its positioning, what set it apart from its competitors, what its added value was, what image it should then convey.

After discussions, studies and the choice of objectives, we first focused on the content to highlight, followed by the choice of channels.

The strategy put in place involves the following stages:

Creating strong graphic concepts
Highlighting content for educational purposes
Deploying the right tools : landing pages, advertorials, articles, interviews, testimonials, etc.
Improving its search ranking (optimised SEO, SEA, etc.)
Communication in sector media with a strategy of smart repetition
Using the strength of partner brands to deliver its messages

Case IH product campaign

For more than 4 years, we have been supporting Case IH France, the world's no. 2 in agricultural equipment (tractors, combine harvesters, balers, etc.), with its marketing strategy.

After receiving briefs on new products or promotional offers, we put 360° actions in place to promote each campaign, according to its priority targets:

Creation of the graphic concept, or adaptation of international campaigns for the French market
Defining a complete media plan (press ads, digital banners, SEA management, etc.)
Creating sales support tools for network dealers (emailing, SMS campaigns, regional press ads, letters, etc.)
Creating content and visibility campaigns (articles, interviews, videos, etc.)

For a launch or a new product, our main objective is visibility, so content is the watchword. For a promotional campaign, generating new leads comes first.

Linedata is a French software publisher and a star in this market. The company acquired CapitalStream, a solution specialising in lending evaluation software for banks in the United States. The company wanted to reaffirm this solution's leading position on the American market.

One promise: stress-free management of loan application approvals.

Together with the client, we therefore chose to use the Japanese Zen universe to illustrate this promise. The result: a creative territory that makes it possible to express the solution's strengths.

Chryso AMA100 EL

Cement and concrete admixture technologies are extremely complex. They affect the strength of concrete, but also the environmental impact of the chosen formula. In addition, their formulation must adapt to the various additions used around the world.

These techniques therefore have to be mastered in order to tell the story of these new admixtures, which adapt perfectly to the needs of cement plants. That was the first challenge of this audiovisual production created for Chryso.

The second was undoubtedly producing a full 3D film in record time. In terms of both developing the 3D images and rendering the textures and lighting, production took place in a relatively short time to meet the launch requirements of this new range. A polished production showing that BtoB can access truly high-quality video production to support the substance.

Launch of Unimi-1Base™

Stradal, the leader in precast concrete in France, is a company that has chosen to innovate in the public works infrastructure market, and to do so to facilitate the energy transition and in particular the rollout of electric charging stations. The company asked Agence Puck to support it with the marketing strategy and communication plans for launching this offer: Unimi-1Base.

The idea was to develop a key visual capable of presenting this new product and its use. The visual was designed in 3D so that it could be easily integrated into images and documents. The communication concept and educational approach were rolled out across:

brochures,
digital campaigns,
acquisition landing pages,
trade show stands,
sales presentations.

Depuis son lancement, Unimi-1Base de Stradal has attracted the attention of the business ecosystem involved in rolling out charging stations, and Agence Puck is supporting Stradal in its digital search for customers and projects.

ART D’ARNOULD PROJECT

ART D’ARNOULD

Legrand, one of the world leaders in electrical equipment and fittings, has a gem in its product ranges which, although very present in France, was barely distributed abroad. Art d’Arnould represents the very top end of electrical fittings (switches, sockets…). This equipment, made by hand from metal in very small series and sometimes even custom-made, is found in heritage landmarks, high-end residences and even prestige hotels.

a 360° campaign

For the international rollout of the offer, Legrand enriched its design range to fit better with all high-end interiors. Agence Puck therefore proposed a concept in English, yet strongly evoking France's traditional expertise in luxury: Art d’Arnould, French Fine Art.

The aim was to show that electrical fittings are among the tools available to architects and designers for dressing a space down to the smallest detail.

This campaign was rolled out:

in print publications,
in press ads,
on film,
in selection guides,
in a series of tools for the brand's events.
