For nearly fifty years, Sogitec has been designing simulation and training systems for the armed forces: Rafale, Mirage 2000, military helicopters, drones. As part of the overall redesign of its identity, the company entrusted Agence Puck with redesigning its product brochures, a print project serving a challenge far broader than a graphic update: its employer brand.

Recognised expertise, an image that no longer attracted recruits

Sogitec didn't have a client problem. Its systems equip the armed forces of 16 countries and the company generates €100 million in revenue. Its real challenge lay elsewhere: convincing young engineers to join. The product brochures, often the first document a candidate or partner consults at a trade show, no longer reflected either the modernity of its technologies or the pride its own teams should have felt when handing them out.

The war for talent doesn't forgive a dated image

In the defence industry, the competition to attract engineering profiles is played out as much on the jobs front as on the business front; the GIFAS, through its platform L’Aéro Recrute, reminds us every year of the scale of recruitment needs in the French aerospace sector. An ageing product brochure is never neutral: it unintentionally signals a company that hasn't kept up with the times, the exact opposite of what Sogitec had just undertaken with the redesign of its visual identity.

Reinvented product materials, aligned with the new identity

Agence Puck reworked all of Sogitec's product leaflets and brochures to bring them into line with its new graphic guidelines. Over several months, our teams worked with those of Sogitec and Dassault Aviation to validate each document on technical substance as much as on form, a non-negotiable point in a sector where the accuracy of content matters as much as its layout.

The stated objective: to make these brochures a recruitment tool in their own right, capable of attracting young engineers, while giving internal teams renewed pride in handing them out in the field.

A unanimous welcome, internally and at trade shows

The result was visible without waiting for a single figure: at the following trade shows, visitors were unanimous about the quality of the new brochures. Internally, Sogitec's sales and technical teams finally have materials that live up to their expertise. A strong signal for an employer brand that now has the means to match its ambitions.
